12 Years Later: Revisiting my Performance of Per-Olov Kindgren's Study in E-minor - A Tribute to the Legacy of a Modern Classical Guitar Icon

Per-Olov Kindgren is a Swedish classical guitarist who has made a significant impact on the guitar community with his virtuosic playing, original compositions, and popular guitar arrangements of famous pieces. Twelve years ago, I recorded a video of myself playing Per-Olov Kindgren's Study in E-minor, based on a study by Francisco Tárrega. Looking back on that video now, I am struck by how much time has passed and how much I have grown as a musician since then. But I am also reminded of how timeless Kindgren's music is and how it still resonates with me today.
